| The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, PCMC has started its move of cleaning of the streams and nullahs before the monsoon sets in. Kunchagi, health department officer said that because of the nullahs not cleaned it is causing hardships to those living on the banks and so a proposal for the same has been submitted and decided that nullahs be cleaned to avoid floods by month end and also small streams cleanliness drive job be taken up on priority basis. |

| The Pune Municipal Corporation, PMC has looked into the well being of senior citizens by way of coming out with senior citizens health welfare scheme. As declared by the PMC, this scheme will be benefited to the senior citizens and it can be availed by those senior citizens who are resident within the PMC limits. This particular scheme facility can be used and availed only once the name registration is done and those who are 59 years above are qualified for the registration. |

| The Pimpri Chincwad Municipal Corporation, PCMC is working on better power supply in the township. PCMC have taken the decision of working in close coordination with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd., MSEDCL in order to face less problems of power during the monsoon. PCMC will also be giving permission to MSEDCL for cutting the excessive branches of those trees that may fall on the supply lines. |

| It has been observed that the Pune Cantonment Elections, PCB are full of defects and so Shivarkar, mla said here that the elections which are held for the PCB should be holded under the supervision of the collector instead of army officers. He further stated that the elections of KCB are conducted under collector supervision and so the PCB should also follow the same practice and hence the procedures followed for both should be same. |

| The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, PCMC will soon be starting a facility for the builders wherein they can give their building plans online. A link will be provided on the website of the corporation and this link will help the builders submit their building plans. The civic officials said that the software which is made has been tested and completed and the online facility will be started in months time and this particular process which normally takes too much of time will now because of this newly introduced online sanction will work much faster. |
